The British School in Colombo continued their winning streak, securing a convincing first-innings victory over Wesley College in the Inter-Schools Under-13 Cricket Tournament at the Shalika Grounds in Narahenpita.
Opting to field after winning the toss, The British School displayed a stellar performance on the field, restricting Wesley College to a meagre 94 runs. The spin duo of Aritha Fernando and Yumeth Suraweera wreaked havoc on the Wesley batting line-up, collectively claiming six wickets.
In response, The British School comfortably surpassed Wesley’s first-innings total, thanks to an outstanding half-century from Tej Krishan. They declared their innings with a lead of 35 runs.
