Brothel raid: five held

Mount Lavinia Divisional Crime Investigation Unit has arrested five sex workers at a brothel functioning under the guise of an Ayurveda spa yesterday in Ratmalana.

 

The suspects were of the ages 38,25,31,33 and 41 and were identified as residents of  Meegahathenna, Panadura,Wakwella, Moratuwa, Madolsima and Hambanthota.

 

They will be produced before the Mt Lavinia Court today. 

 

Further investigations are been carried out by the Police.
