The Court of Appeal yesterday directed the Sports Minister to inform Court regarding his stance on Sri Lanka Cricket on December 13. This order was made by the Court of Appeal, when two petitions filed challenging the gazette notice issued by former Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe suspending the SLC registration and appointing an interim cricket governing body was taken up in Courts.
Kushan De Alwis PC, who represented Sports Minister Harin Fernando, stated that time is needed to inform the position of the Sports Minister regarding Sri Lanka Cricket. He requested Court to give a time for the documents related to this case to be studied.
