Cabraal’s travel ban extended

Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela yesterday ordered the extension of the overseas travel ban imposed on former Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal until May 23.

The Additional Magistrate also ordered Cabraal to appear before the court on May 23.

The complaint had been lodged against Cabraal for allegedly abusing public funds during his tenure as the Governor of the Central Bank.
