CEB to accommodate 2,800+ MW of renewable energy

Minister of Power and Energy Kanachana Wijesekera in a message on Twitter said he Had a positive meeting with Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and Sustainable Energy Authority officials. After 6 months of discussions, the Minister said CEB officials finally mapped out a plan to accommodate 2,800+ MW of renewable energy to the existing grid between 2022-2026.

Minister Wijesekera said this would enable CEB and SEA to accommodate & accelerate many projects.
