CFA Society Sri Lanka facilitates self-paced online certificate-level programme
CFA Society Sri Lanka has announced the upcoming information session dedicated to shedding light on the latest edition of the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certificate ’ (Investment Foundations Certificate). This self-paced online certificate-level programme stands as a beacon, providing a comprehensive grasp of the mechanics of the global investment industry to the worldwide workforce.
The newly revitalized Investment Foundations Certificate encompasses the fundamentals of finance, ethical considerations and the intricacies of various investment roles. This holistic understanding empowers individuals within and beyond the investment domain, particularly those engaged in support functions across the financial landscape, such as Marketing, HR, IT, Operations and Legal.
By fostering a common language of investment, the programme bridges communication gaps among diverse industry colleagues.
President of CFA Society Sri Lanka Aruna Perera, said that the CFA Institute aims to become the go-to hub for the investment industry’s skill enhancement and transformation. The launch of the updated Investment Foundations Certificate reflects this vision.
The programme empowers participants to enhance communication, apply critical thinking and foster better collaboration within investment teams through shared knowledge. With employers increasingly valuing diverse skill sets, the Investment Foundations Certificate provides essential foundational content for both industry professionals and those entering the field of finance.
The information session on the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certificate will be facilitated by Sachin Naik, Director, Partnerships and Client Solutions, India, CFA Institute, with moderation by Aruna Alwis, CEO of CFA Society Sri Lanka. The session is scheduled to commence on August 29, from 3 pm to 4 pm Sri Lanka Time.
The CFA Institute Investment Foundations® Certificate program unfolds as a self-paced online journey, necessitating an investment of 60–90 hours of dedicated study. The pinnacle of the program is a 140-minute, 100-question online final assessment. Upon registration, participants are encouraged to complete the coursework and assessment within 12 months. CFA Society Sri Lanka extends an open invitation to those eager to delve into program specifics, urging them to participate in the information session accessible through the organization’s social media channels.
