CFSL to launch ‘Knowledge for Masters’ on Sunday

The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka (CFSL) is set to launch a new programme titled ‘Knowledge for Masters’ on Sunday, commencing at 9.00 a.m via Zoom.

‘Knowledge for Masters’ is another unique attempt at developing skills and equipping the Sri Lankan coaches with the required knowledge with the long-term goal of producing sustainable talent.

Grandmaster (GM) R. B. Ramesh of India will conduct the first session of this programme.

GM Ramesh is one of the leading chess trainers in the world, having produced talents like GM Praggnanandhaa, GM Aravindh Chithambaram and GM Karthikeyan Murali.

He was also the driving force behind India’s Bronze Medal journey at the World Chess Olympiad in 2014.
