Chandani to act as Presidential Secretary

Senior Sri Lanka Planning Service (SLPS) Officer Chandani Wijewardena has been appointed Acting Secretary to the President, as Presidential Secretary Saman Ekanayake is accompanying President Ranil Wickremesinghe on an official visit to India.

This is the first occasion that a female has been appointed to this position, the PMD said.
