Christmas party ends in murder

Welikada Police said that a man was beaten to death after an argument at a Christmas party held at Wijitha Pura Mawatha in Welikada. The deceased has been identified as K.K.A. Renuka (46), a resident of Angoda. A 62-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder.

Police investigations revealed that the victim had held a party with three other people on Monday (25) and after an altercation, he had been beaten to death with a club.

The Welikada Police are investigating the murder.
