Church Grenade: CCD ordered to complete probe

Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya yesterday ordered the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) to complete the investigations into the recovery of hand grenade from the All Saint’s Church, Borella soon.

The CCD has also been ordered to report on the suspects who have been detained in connection with the incident to Court on February 2. President’s Counsel Rienzie Arasakularatne appearing for three persons including the church sacristan Francis Munindran who have been detained by the police, told court that the manner in which the investigations are being conducted is not correct.
