CID obtains statement on Bruno’s assets

The Illegal Assets Investigation Division attached to the CID has started an investigation into the assets and property belonging to YouTube channel owner Bruno Divakara, who is accused of aiding and abetting Natasha Edirisuriya, who is now being held on remand over charges of insulting Buddhism.

Accordingly, Bruno Divakara was summoned to the Illegal Assets Investigation Division yesterday and a statement was obtained. A Senior Police officer said that a statement was obtained from him for about four hours, where he revealed many details regarding his assets.
