CID PC arrested with heroin

Wolfendhal Street Police arrested a Police Constable working in the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with heroin on August 10.

It was revealed that this officer is heavily addicted to drugs. 50 mg of heroin was also found in his possession.

According to the information received regarding this officer, he was arrested by the officers of the Wolfendhal Street Police near the Orugudawatta traffic lights.During interrogation, he said that he was on his way for night security duty at Dematagoda Mahawila Park.
