Primary Industries State Minister Chamara Sampath Dasanayake told Parliament yesterday that he complained to the Inspector General of Police about a civil activist who mocks and ridicules MPs by giving phone calls.
He also said that this person spoke to him and State Minister Diana Gamage in a way that they were belittled in these phone calls. “This person’s name is Sahan Ganegoda. He may not think that I will find him. I found his information within an hour. He is a person who was in the struggle and escaped from the Army. He also has many cases of rape of women. There are complaints against him in several Police Stations. I request MPs to keep an eye on him,” he said.
