Classic Travel obtains ISO 22301 to ensure business continuity

A travel solutions provider for over 28 years, Classic Travel, the only travel agent in Sri Lanka to be open 24 hours and 365 days, recently obtained the ‘ISO 22301Business Continuity Management System’ certification to ensure uninterrupted services to its traveling customers.

The ISO 22301 system is designed to help organisations around the world identify and prioritize threats, and to protect them from the impacts of business disruptions.

Classic Travel Pvt. Ltd CEO Shiham Imamudeen explaining the reasons that led to Classic Travel applying for the new certification said, “We are living in challenging times and natural disasters such as industrial fires, supply chain disruptions or cyber-attacks are just some of the many unexpected threats to the smooth running of a business.”
