Colombo North and Kandy U-17 teams victorious

Colombo North U-17 and Kandy U-17 teams recorded wins on the starting day of the Under 19 Sri Lanka Youth League 2023 tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday.

Colombo North U-17 beat Colombo South U-17 by 8 wickets and Kandy U-17 beat Galle U-17 by 103 runs in their matches.

Dulinith Sigera, right arm off spinner of Colombo North U-17 claimed 6 wickets against Colombo South U-17. Kavija Gamage (88) and Wathila Udara (78) of Kandy U-17 showed good batting performances.
