Constable held for drunken behaviour

Responding to a telephone message received from the 119 Police emergency hotline, the Katuwana Police arrested a constable for unruly behaviour while under the influence of liquor.

This constable is attached to the Katuwana Police Station.

Katuwana Police said that this constable, who is a resident of the Katuwana area, entered a private property while being drunk and behaved in an unruly manner.

Following his arrest, he had been subjected to a medical test which confirmed that he was drunk. He was later released on police bail.
