Contract killer shot dead by STF

It has been revealed that the person who was killed on Saturday (24) at a house in Embilipitiya by the Police Special Task Force was a hired killer of the gang of Heanatiyana Mahesh, an underworld figure involved in drug trafficking in Minuwangoda and Katunayake areas, currently staying in Dubai. Investigations have revealed that he has been trained in the Army’s Special Forces and is an Army deserter. Information about this mysterious shooter has been revealed to the officers of the Special Task Force’s Gonahena camp during the investigation regarding the shooting of two people who were travelling on a motorcycle in Boralugodawatta, Minuwangoda recently where one person was killed.

It is said that this shooter was also responsible for the shooting to death of Prabath Priyankara de Silva, who was traveling on a motorcycle in Minuwangoda, Boragodawatta, on February 16. The Police Special Task Force states that information has been revealed that Dhanushka Madhushan Navaratne was shot on December 14 last year in the Katunayake Avariawatta area by this same person. It has been revealed that all these shootings were carried out by this person under contracts given by Heenatiyana Mahesh from Dubai.
