Cop arrested over unruly behaviour at spa

The Ratnapura police has arrested a police constable who had reportedly gone to a massage parlour in Ratnapura with his brother and a friend and had acted in an unruly manner when his demand for sex with women had been rejected.

The constable attached to the Peliyagoda city traffic division had been assigned to handle traffic duties during rehearsals for the Independence Day.

He had been attached to the Fort police for above duties since January 27.

However, recently, this officer was released from traffic duty for Independence Day rehearsals and was informed to report back to the Peliyagoda Traffic Division.

However, without reporting to duty he had gone to Ratnapura and visited the massage parlour with his brother and friend. However, instead of getting a massage the officer and the other two had demanded women for sex.

When their demand was refused the police officer had behaved in an unruly manner, police said.
