Country won’t recover with IMF loan – Fonseka
SJB MP Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka told Parliament that the country will not recover even though the country has received the IMF extended loan facility.
He said that if the country is to be rebuilt, fraud and corruption must be stopped and this country cannot be rebuilt until that is done. He said this while speaking in the debate held after the President presented the terms of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund to Parliament.
He said that all the officers who worked against the people’s struggles will definitely be punished under their government.
The MP said that a government that repressed the media never existed. I will join with the media against that repression. He said that lakhs of people should come out against the corrupt regime, otherwise the politicians will not learn their lessons.
