Couple arrested over fake Rs. 5,000 note

A grocery shop owner filed a complaint in the Kalutara North Police against a couple who bought 5kg of rice with a fake Rs. 5,000 note from his store in Diyagama, Kalutara North.

Kalutara North Police swiftly arrested the couple at Nagas Handiya while they were escaping.

Investigations are continuing.
