Court has issued an order against the protest to be held today by the SJB

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) party members was planning to hold a protest today (20 February) against the postponing of the local government elections, as a response to the postponement of the postal voting of the LG elections.

In light of this, the Police has made an application to the Colombo Fort Magistrate against the protest and Magistrate has issued an order against the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs from holding the protest in a manner that disrupts traffic and inconvenience the general public.
