Customs seizes ‘Hashish’ sent from Italy
Sri Lanka Customs seized a large consignment of ‘Hashish sent from Italy.
It is worth Rs. 61.36 million, was found inside a parcel that was declared as food items and addressed to a location in Homagama.
The parcel has been seized by the officers of Customs’ Revenue Task Force lastevening.
The agent who came to receive the parcel has been arrested.
The seized item and the susoect were handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) for further investigations.
