Daham Sadeepa cyclist, cricketer and athlete

He started Athletics when he entered the Grade Four Class of the Lexicon International School under the instructions of his Class teacher,Miss.Sandya who guided him for two years in athletics and he won the 50 Metre Race and the Relay event as a member of the Iris House at the School Annual Sports Meet.

He continued to improve his performances in Athletics and again the next year too he won the 50 Meter & 75 Meter Races at the Annual Sports meet and helped his house to become Runners-up. He repeated his

Athletic ability by improving the sport under the instructions of his class teacher at that time Miss.Dharshi and was successful in winning the 50 Metre, 75 Metre Races and the Long Jump event.

In the year 2019 he became a member of the Kandy Cricket and Athletics Academy and started Cricket too under the Coaching of the writer and E.Chandrathilak, veteran Cricket coaches. He was a right arm medium pace Bowler who bagged 30 wickets in four home and home Cricket matches organized by the Cricket Academy and he has not performed well in batting so far. Daham Sadeepa was a born Cyclist and after School he joined his friends on several Cycle races and he became the Champion at a Cycling racing event.

He was a studious boy who is also interested in sports and he found the time for these Sports activities and shows that in future he will be a talented Sportsman. He is very popular with the other children of the

Housing Scheme and at present while doing his online education he finds time for his sports activities

Daham Sadeepa’s intention is to improve his studies while being a talented Sportsman and he is thankful to his Class teachers as well as the Administrator of the School, T.B.Damunupola and the Principal, P.M.Damunupola and his parents Gemunu Bandara and Ajantha for the guidance and support given to him to improve his sports abilities.
