“Daruwanta Ratak – Ratata Hetak” a motivational session by Bro Charles Thomas at Zahira College

Zahira College Colombo conducted a Motivational Session on the theme of “Daruwanta Ratak – Ratata Hetak” by renowned motivational speaker Brother Charles Thomas which was held at the Ghaffoor Hall, Zahira College on Thursday, November 23. It was held under the patronage Principal of the College Trizviiy Marikkar.

This programme, with his captivating poems and songs, united diverse schools, transcending ethnic boundaries.

The objective of this mission is to inculcate values of patriotism among the senior students.

A large number of students from various schools participated, such as Royal College, D. S. Senanayake College, Gothami Balika Vidyalaya, Hameed Al Husseini College, Darus Salaam College, Hindu Ladies College, Muslim Ladies College, Khiriya Girls College, Zahira College, Fathima Muslim Ladies College and other respective schools along with principals and teachers too participated.

Principal Trizviiy Marikkar presented mementoes to Brother Charles Thomas and religious dignitaries on behalf of the College.

The Religious Dignitaries, Police Officers, Zahira College Deputy Principal (Administration) Mohamed Shazuli, Vice Principal Co-Curricular Activities Zeenath Ismail, Prefects of Discipline Muhiseen Ariff, Board of Governors Chairman Fouzul Hameed, Secretary Alavi Mukthar, Old Boys’ Association President Mohamed Shiraz, Secretary Nuzree Munsoor, Members of the Parents Teachers Association, Sectional Heads, teachers, old boys and students were present at this event.
