David Myers assumes role as Deputy Chief of Mission at US Embassy Sri Lanka

The US Embassy in Sri Lanka announced that David Myers has assumed duties as the new Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM) this month.

Myers most recently served as Acting DCM and Political‑Economic Section Chief at the US Embassy in Skopje, North Macedonia. 

His prior overseas assignments include tours in Guangzhou, China; Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Moscow, Russia.

Before joining the U.S. Department of State, Myers was a lawyer specializing in antitrust law, working with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division in Washington, D.C., the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in Melbourne, and several private firms. (Newswire)
