MP Dayasiri Jayasekara stated that he has no intention to become a member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and obtain a position as an organizer of an electorate.
The MP while pointing out that he had no issue in joining a broad coalition to contest at the upcoming elections, said that he is an independent person due to the cancellation of his membership by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and that he has filed a lawsuit in this regard.
Jayasekara mentioned this while participating in a ceremony held recently for the initiation of a National Movement for an Exemplary Political Movement.
The national movement has been started with the participation of 18 political parties, and Jayasekara has been appointed as its chairman. Stating that he has the ability to work together with political parties, the MP said that he is involved in the process of building a strong country and that if he can give some contribution for strengthening it, he will give it.
