Dead spinner dolphin washes ashore in Mannar

The body of a spinner dolphin was found washed ashore at Arippu Beach in Silavathurai, Mannar, early today (31), the Department of Wildlife Conservation said. 

Wildlife officials examined the carcass before arranging for a post-mortem examination to be conducted by the Wildlife Veterinary Unit in Kilinochchi. (Newswire)
