Deegawapi Rajamaha Viharaya to receive Sandahiru Stupa Sacred Pinnacle tomorrow

The ‘Sacred Pinnacle’ and the ‘Crest-Gem’ of Sandahiru Stupa will arrive at Deegawapi Rajamaha Viharaya tomorrow (Oct 16).

The procession carrying the revered Stupa articles left Rangiri Dambulu Rajamaha Viharaya today morning (Oct 15) amidst religious blessings and will reach the day’s destination, Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya in the evening while passing Gonawela, Bakamuna, Hettipola, Hebarawa and Ginnoruwa.

The parading of revered articles would be presided over by Ven. Maha Sanga amidst religious blessings throughout the exposition.

Police Divisions of the respective areas will control the traffic and strict healthcare measures will be in place during the programme.
