Defending champions of division One tier A Trinity College Kandy beat Prince of Wales College Moratuwa by nine wickets in their first round fixture of the Under 19 Limited overs inter schools cricket tournament yesterday.

Ishara Ekanayake of Nugawela Central College made second ton this season. He scored 116 runs against Sri Sumangala College Kandy. Mahanama College Colombo, Ananda College Colombo, St. Patrick’s College Jaffna recorded wins. Match tied between Nugawela Central College and Sri Sumangala College Kandy.
