Dengue cases on the rise in Sri Lanka

The number of dengue infected people across the country has increased to 72,840, Dr.Nimalka Pannilahetti, of the National Dengue Control Unit said.

The highest number of infected people are reported from the Western Province and the number is 34645 (47.5 percent).

In this month alone, 4347 infected people have been reported.
