Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs launches new website

The official website www.muslimaffairs.gov.lk of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs was launched recently.

It has been introduced under the brainchild and guidance of Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickremanayake.

Through this website, the public can get all the information regarding Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs at a single glance.

Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs Vidura Wickremanayake led the said event, Digamadulla  District Member of Parliament S.M.M. Musharraf, Chairman of Haj Committee and its members, members of Wakf Board, Officers of Hindu and Christian Departments, Officers of Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs and many others participated in the event.

Also, the guidance and efforts of the Director of Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, Z.A. Faisal made this website possible. In addition, Assistant Directors Ala Ahmed, N. Nilufar and accountant S.L.M. Nibras also supported this. Through this new website, you can get all the information related to Mosque, Arabic Colleges, Quranic Madrasa, Ahadiyyah Schools and information related to Hajj and Umrah.

Further, information related to visa, information related to the Sri Lanka Wakf Board, information related to Sri Lankan Wakf Tribunal, information related to the Haj Committee could also be obtained through the new website launched by the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs.

In addition, the information of all the departments under the Ministry of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs can be accessed through this new website.
