Devapathiraja, Rathnawali register fourth-straight win

Devapathiraja College Rathgama and Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha recorded their fourth win in their first-round fixture of the Under 19 Girls’ Division One Inter School Cricket Tournament yesterday.

Devapathiraja College beat Anura Vidyalaya Matara by 220 runs and Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha beat Wadduwa MMV by 7 wickets. Princess of Wales College Moratuwa beat Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda by 97 runs.

Sanjana Kavindi of Devapathiraja College Rathgama scored an unbeaten 110 runs against Anura Vidyalaya Matara. Shehara Induwari of Devapathiraja College Rathgama claimed 5 wickets for 23 runs against Anura Vidyalaya Matara. Hashini Wijesinghe of Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya Gampaha claimed 5 wickets for 9 runs against Wadduwa Central College. Januthi Edirisinghe of Princess of Wales College Moratuwa claimed 6 wickets for 20 runs against Anula Vidyalaya Nugegoda.
