Dhurandhar’s Ayesha Khan detained by Mumbai cops during student protests

Actress Ayesha Khan, known for her appearance in the song “Shararat” from the film “Dhurandhar”, was detained by Mumbai Police on Wednesday while attending a protest in support of students demanding education reforms.
The actress shared videos on Instagram showing herself inside a police van and later at a police station, claiming she had been detained despite standing peacefully near the protest site. Ayesha alleged that she had not begun protesting and was only waiting after her brother and several friends were taken into custody by police.
In one of the videos, Ayesha questioned why she had been detained, saying she had not violated any law or participated in the protest. She also alleged that several police personnel escorted her into the vehicle before she was taken to Worli Police Station.
The protest was part of a wider demonstration in support of students seeking education reforms, with several members of the film industry expressing solidarity. There was no immediate official statement from Mumbai Police responding to Ayesha Khan’s allegations. (Newswire)
