Diamond Sports Club, Ampara emerge Volleyball Champions

Diamond Sports Club, Ampara won the volleyball championship beating Ashraff Sports Club, Addalaichenai in the final of the Gold Star Champion Trophy-2023 flood-lit Volleyball Tournament held at the Meenodaikaddu in Addalaichenai recently.

The Gold Star Sports Club President A.S.Munafdeen organized this tournament successfully while 25 prominent volleyball teams of the area took part.

Diamond Sports Club Volleyball Team, Ampara beat Ashraff Sports Club Volleyball Team, Addalaichenai in the final to emerge winners. Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) Meenodaikaddu Organizer and Addalaichenai Young Lions Sports Club President A.C.Niyas was the Chief Guest at the award ceremony.

Champions Ampara Diamond SC were awarded Rs.20,000.00 cash prize and trophy by the Chief Guest and the runner-up Ashraff Sports Club was awarded cash prize and trophy by the guests.

Meanwhile, Addalaichenai Gold Star SC has introduced the new Jersey for the year 2023. Club officials and players received the jerseys from the Guests at the event.
