Digitisation of UNP observed by the President

The digitisation of the United National Party (UNP) was observed by Party Leader, President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday (8).

After the party Executive Board meeting held yesterday evening at the Sirikotha party headquarters, Party Secretary General Range Bandara, showed to the President the digitisation of the party in conjunction with the 77th Anniversary of the United National Party.

The President observed the functioning of the digital board connecting the party member with the party.

According to President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s 2048 Jayagamu concept, the United National Party (UNP) was the first in the history of Sri Lankan political parties to digitise the activities of a political party.

United National Party Chairman, MP Wajira Abeywardena, Party Executive Director Shamal Senarath and many other party activists attended the event.
