Dinesh Weerakkody appointed Chairman of CPCEC

Business leader and former Chairman of Hatton National Bank PLC and Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, Dinesh Weerakkody, have been appointed as Chairman of the Colombo Port City Economic Commission, (CPCEC) the main authority managing the Colombo Port City project.

Weerakkody is also the immediate past Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka and Vice Chairman of the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon.
