Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday requested the public not to queue up for fuel at filling stations until fuel station deliveries are completed.
The Minister in a tweet said that three vessels are expected to reach Sri Lanka within the next two weeks on Indian Credit Line.
“With the arrival of the Diesel cargo yesterday and 3 vessels to reach SL in the next 2 weeks on the @IndiainSL credit line, adequate fuel will be made available.
Request the public not to queue up or top up the next 3 days until the 1190 fuel station deliveries are completed”, he tweeted.
