
The Sri Lankan Rupee has significantly appreciated against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (10), compared to Tuesday, with the selling rate dropping below Rs. 336
According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has decreased from Rs. 332.25 to Rs. 323.25, while the selling rate has decreased from Rs. 342.00 to Rs. 336.00.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar remains unchanged at Rs. 332.50, while the selling rate also is unchanged at Rs. 341.50.
However, at People’s Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 331.18 to Rs. 324.06, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 339.98 to Rs. 334.25.
Commercial Bank reports that the buying rate has decreased from Rs. 329.93 to Rs. 319.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 341.00 to Rs. 332.00, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have decreased from Rs. 332.50 to Rs. 326.50 and from Rs. 341.50 to Rs. 335.50, respectively. (Newswire)
