
The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (31), compared to Thursday, with the selling rate dropping to Rs. 339 in some banks.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 331.75 and Rs. 341.00, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 331.71 to Rs. 331.25, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 340.70 to Rs. 340.25.
At People’s Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar remains unchanged at Rs. 331.52, while the selling rate is also unchanged at Rs. 340.33.
Commercial Bank reports that the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 329.80 to Rs. 329.55, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 339.75 to Rs. 339.50.
At Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 332.00 to Rs. 331.75, while the selling rate has also reduced from Rs. 340.00 to Rs. 339.75. (Newswire)
