Dr. Chameera Yapa Abeywardane appointed Chairman NLB

Dr. Chameera Yapa Abeywardane was appointed as the 26th Chairman of National Lotteries Board) yesterday.

Former Chairman, NLB, Ronald Perera (PC) also attended the religious ceremony that was held yesterday along with senior board member, Japanese Deputy Head of Mission, Katsuka Kotaro, his family members and other well wishers also participated.

Founded in 1955 National Lotteries Board fully operated by the Ministry of Finance and earns around Rs. 17.5 billion annually becoming one of main revenue sources of the government.
