Dr. Krishantha Pathiraja to HDFC Board

Dr. Krishantha Pathiraja has been appointed as a Board Director of HDFC Bank, Sri Lanka.

Dr. Pathiraja, Chairman of Palmyrah Development Board, Ministry of Plantation, Sri Lanka, has served in the private and public sector for eighteen years, beginning in 2004. He served as a Consultant, Advisor in reputed private sector organizations and currently working as Chairman of Palmyrah Development Board, Brand Ambassador of LAKSALA, and he was appointed to the Jaffna Development Committee (DCC).

He was also appointed as a Scientific Advisory Board Member to the DK International Research Foundation in Tamil Nadu, India in 10th January 2022.

Dr. Krishantha is specialized in Business Administration, Strategic Management and Information Technology. Dr. Krishantha holds a Phd in Business Administration from USA and a Phd (Hons) in Information Technology from India and Phd (Reading) in Strategic Management from Cambodia.

Additionally, he is Professional Member of British Computer Society in UK, The Charted Institute of Information Communication Technology and Member of National Computer Center UK.
