Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya appointed CEB Chairman

Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya has been appointed as the Chairman of state-owned Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) with immediate effect. Siyambalapitiya carries 40 years of experience in the energy sector of Sri Lanka, in South and Southeast Asia, the Middle East and East Africa.

He had been the President of Sri Lanka Energy Manager’s Association from 2004 to 2006.

Besides he worked in Energy Task Forces, under the Power and Energy Ministry in Sri Lanka from 1982 to 1984.
