State Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Rohana Dissanayake said that a proposal will be submitted to the Government to prepare a programme for sterilizing Toque Macaque, a commonly found monkey in Sri Lanka, to control their population. The State Minister said that the Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation Department will be informed about this and the relevant programme will be expedited.
