Drug addict Constable who stole motorbike dismissed

The Borella Police conducted an investigation regarding a motorcycle theft and arrested a Police Constable who had been issued termination orders.

Police said that this motorcycle, which is valued Rs.650, 000 was stolen in the Borella area.

Investigations have revealed that this Constable served last in the Welikada Police Station and was addicted to drugs. The suspect a resident of Pannipitiya was arrested on Saturday (2) at Anderson Road in Kohuwala.

The motorcycle has been found after interrogations from the suspect.
