EC orders to remove all banners and cutouts of President’s final rally in Homagama tomorrow

The final public rally to ensure the victory of Independent Candidate President Ranil Wickremesinghe is to be held in Homagama tomorrow (18) and the Election Commission (EC) has informed the Homagama Divisional Secretary and the Homagama Police to remove all the cutouts and banners displayed in that area in connection to it.

According to police sources, the Homagama Pradeshiya Sabha and the Police are taking steps to remove the banners, cutouts and posters accordingly.

The Election Commission has informed the Police and the Divisional Secretary through a letter in this regard.
