Egg prices to be reduced by Rs. 5

The price of an egg will be reduced by Rs. 5 with effect from August 22, the All Island Egg Producers Association told the Daily News.

Chicken and egg pricess have risen in the country due to an increaning demand in the market and shortage of animal feed. The price of an egg has increased to around Rs. 62 in the market.
