Elasto Group’s Textrip donates AVRO2 to Nagoda Hospital
This gesture was made after Minister Namal Rajapaksa made a request and it was coordinated by his Coordinating Secretary, Mahinda Bandara. This donation costs over one million rupees and the purchase was made by Chairman and Managing Director of the Elasto Group and Textrip (Pvt) Ltd, Mangala Gunasekera as one of their CSR events.
Textrip exports Progressive Resistance Bands to over 30 countries and supports over 100 top global brands proudly accredited with ISO-9001, ISO-14001, COC, REACH, CAL-PROP-65 and following SMETA guidelines as well. The company has already won NCE Exports, CNIC Achiever, National Productivity and SILK Sports awards. Textrip is dominating the local market with over 80 to 85 % share in the sports exercise products category with the TEXSTRETCH brand.
Consultant Surgeon of Nagoda General Hospital Dr. D. C. Rajapakse, and Deputy Director Dr. Nilantha Karasinghe said that the hospital was in dire need of an Optiflow Oxygen Delivering System. Major General Rohana Bandara who was also present, said that the hospital system needs more donations of this nature. Business Development Manager of Textrip, Dilshan Lokuenderage and Sales Representative cum Demonstrator, Vimukthi Wickramanayake were also present at the event.
