Electricity, Health care and fuel made Essential Services

President Ranil Wickremasinghe has made all services related to supply of electricity, health care, fuel and petroleum products essential services via gazette extraordinary 2332/12 dated 17 May 2023. Gazette was issued under the powers given to the President under the section 2 of the Public Services Act.

This announcement has been issued under the signature of the President’s SecretaryE. M. S. B. Ekanayake, by order of the President.
