Elephants kill two farmers in Ethimale and Kumbukkanoya

The Police say that two farmers were killed in wild elephant attacks in Ethimale and Kumbukkanoya areas on Saturday (6). The deceased have been identified as Wasantha Sumanasekara (42), a father of two, resident of Dombagahawela and P. H. K. Gunaratne, a 61-year-old father of three, resident of Okkampitiya, Minipuragama.

The incidents had happened at Kumbukkanoya and Gonaganara Police divisions. The Police are investigating the incidents.
