The former Epic Lanka software engineer who was remanded for deleting National Medicines Regulatory Authority (NMRA) data was further remanded till November 16.
The Colombo Chief Magistrate Buddhika Ragala issued the order when the case was taken up before the court yesterday.
The Criminal Investigations Department on September 28 arrested Ramanayake Arachchige Don Pramod Dilupa Ramanayake and assistant engineer of Epic Lanka Technologies (Pvt) Ltd for illegally entering into the database of the National Medicines Regulatory Authority and deletion of its data.
State Counsel Jayani Wadugodapitiya appearing on behalf of the Attorney General’s Department submitted written submissions before the Magistrate.
The Magistrate fixed for November 16 to deliver his order pertaining to this case.
